Yumeiho Therapy

Japanese

Yumeiho — also known as “Divine Therapy” — is a set of oriental techniques for relaxing and adjusting the body and achieving its symmetry. Yumeiho therapy significantly affects and improves the function of all internal organs, tones the muscles and heals the whole body. Yumeiho is a therapeutic approach based on manual actions applied to the entire body for maintaining or enhancing health. It encompasses approximately 100 manoeuvres carried out on the patient’s whole body, and is also known as “the method of dealing with hip bones, massage therapy and acupressure” or “Saionji Oriental Special Massage Therapy.” The Yumeiho therapy includes the systematic application of a collection of manual treatments and exercises aimed at restoring the functional balance of the human organism. In doing so, a wide variety of problems that may cause both acute and chronic illness are eliminated or relieved. The therapy includes: — Osteoarticular control techniques and myo-articular conditioning — Acupressure and reflexotherapy point treatment — Specialist massage methods and treatments — Stretching elements (stretches and prolongations) — Improvement and harmonising techniques of posture, walking and rest positions — Optimisation exercises of the biomechanics of the locomotor system — Special gymnastics (YUMEIHO TAISO), accompanied by breathing techniques and relaxation approaches

Reiki Therapy

Energy Healing

Reiki is working with universal energy and may be described as energy and spiritual healing. The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki releases blockages from energy centres, leading to a restoration of physical and emotional balance, which makes us feel healthy and energised. Energy healing targets the energy fields around the body. According to practitioners, energy can become stagnant in the body where there has been physical injury or emotional pain. Over time, these energy blocks can contribute to illness. Reiki aims to assist the flow of energy and remove blockages — in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure — enabling relaxation, reducing pain, accelerating healing, and lowering other symptoms of illness. Reiki has been practised for thousands of years. Its current form was first developed in 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist called Mikao Usui, who reportedly taught 2,000 people the Reiki method during his lifetime. The practice spread to the United States through Hawaii in the 1940s, and later to Europe in the 1980s. It is commonly referred to as “palm healing” or “hands-on healing.”

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy

Essential Oils

Aromatherapy massage has extensive applicability and is used for relaxation, coping with pain, and improving mood. It has been found that the addition of essential oils and specific fragrances significantly enhances the effects of massage, leading to much stronger and positive outcomes. Aromatherapy is a proven type of therapeutic practice with incontestable positive effects. Its unique feature is that it combines impact through touch (massage) with sensory impact through specially selected essential oils. The aromas produced during the massage are derived from various medicinal plants. When the wholesome essential oils are inhaled or absorbed through the skin, they help people cope with various health problems — complementing the effect of the massage and the overall therapy. The carefully chosen combination of massage technique and plant-derived aromas creates a deeply restorative experience for both body and mind.

Sports Massage

Performance

The sports massage is used for athletes and active individuals, as well as for people who exercise regularly to maintain their shape. It is a deep-tissue massage used to stimulate faster recovery of muscle fibres, support training of the whole body, and target specific muscle groups. Sports massage is divided into several types, each using different techniques: 1. Preliminary Massage — Used before competitions to warm the body, quickly find the rhythm, eliminate existing pain, and prevent future injuries. The basic technique is rubbing. It lasts 10–30 minutes and promotes heating of the muscles, improved blood circulation, and an accelerated respiratory and cardiovascular system. 2. Restorative Massage — Used after competitions or workouts to restore all vital functions, eliminate fatigue and recover strength as quickly as possible. Techniques focus on overcoming oxygen insufficiency, eliminating pain and reducing muscle tension. Duration: 5–6 minutes. 3. Training Massage — An important part of the training process, enabling the athlete to achieve the highest possible results in a short time and more easily concentrate energy. Lasts 5–12 hours and is applied after workouts or when the person is unable to train due to injury. 4. Massage for Sports Injuries and Diseases — Its specifics depend on the type and severity of the trauma or disease. Used to accelerate recovery, eliminate or reduce pain, limit and reduce oedema, and restore the functions of the motor system. Regular use of sports massage rearranges connective tissue and muscle fibres, helps separate accumulated toxins, and improves the mobility and flexibility of joints — reducing the risk of trauma during sport and other physical activities.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage

Classic

The Swedish massage has a long-lasting and relaxing effect on the muscles and joints. It was created in the 19th century by Swedish doctor Henrik Ling, and today it is one of the most commonly used massages against fatigue and back pain. An effective Swedish massage requires relaxed music, a room with subdued light, and an experienced masseur. Massage movements are exercised across all muscles — in some places with more pressure, in others only with a light touch — depending on whether the massage is performed with palms, thumbs, forearms or elbows. The movements are carried in the direction opposite to blood circulation, promoting both emotional and physical health, with a focus on improving blood flow, cardiovascular activity and heart function. The Swedish massage contributes to: 1. Improving and activating blood circulation. 2. Providing deep muscle relaxation. 3. Stimulating skin tissues and improving their appearance. 4. Accelerating the lymphatic circulation. 5. Reducing and treating muscle tension, stress and nodules. 6. Relieving tension in the lower back, shoulders and neck.

It is a long, gentle and pleasant massage in which all kinds of techniques can be included — slight kneading of muscles and skin, prolonged stroking, and sometimes rhythmic swinging. Anticellulite Massage

Anticellulite Massage

Body Sculpting

Genetics, eating disorders and various other factors can cause cellulite, but its primary cause is poor blood circulation. Cellulite most often occurs alongside problems with blood and lymph circulation and the accumulation of toxins in fatty tissues. The anticellulite massage is a massage therapy in which rhythmic and vigorous movements are used to stir up accumulated fat deposits and improve blood and lymph circulation — leading to a smoother skin surface. This treatment improves blood and lymph circulation in problem areas and helps supply tissues with purified oxygen. Benefits of anticellulite massage: 1. Fat deposits are broken open and dispersed. 2. The usual adhesion between muscles and skin is loosened. 3. Blood circulation improves, leading to better oxygen supply to soft tissues. 4. The appearance of the skin improves significantly.

Marma

Energy Points

Marma therapy is an ancient, Ayurvedic and highly effective method used to trigger the self-healing relay of the mind and body, balancing the vital energy in the body. Its name comes from the acupuncture and massage points in Ayurveda called marmas — "sensitive zones". These are centres of vital force that can be used for treatment. Marma points are located at specific spots where organs, nerves, tissues, blood vessels, joints and bones meet, and are connected directly to the energy centres called chakras. In our bodies there are 107 main marma points, a part of which are directly related to our chakras. By gently touching and massaging the marma points, they stimulate and improve the flow of vital energy, clearing stress, improving neuro-muscle connections, releasing blockages, eliminating accumulated toxins and improving the ability of cells to self-recover. Marma therapy acts on 3 levels: 1. Body — Removes stress and tension in muscles. — Stimulates blood circulation and lymph flow, leading to nourishment, cleansing and better hydration. — Balancing of the Dosha — Vata, Pita and Kafa. — Improves recovery after illness. — Improves the immune system and has a detoxifying effect. 2. Spirit — Enhances tranquillity and awareness. 3. Mind — Gives clarity, calm and stability. — Gives strength and confidence. — Balancing of the three Gunas — Satva, Rajas and Tamas. — Anti-stress, improved sleep and emotional stability. Marma therapy also contributes to: 1. Strengthening immunity. 2. Clearing emotional blockages, eliminating fatigue, stress and tension. 3. Relieving pain. 4. Improving digestion, assimilation and elimination. 5. Contributing to healthy and fulfilling sleep. 6. Strengthening internal organs. 7. Slowing down the ageing process. 8. Calming the mind.
